My name is Julia Kim, currently a sophomore attending International School of Qingdao. It is my true honor to serve as head president of the General Assembly in this year. During the first MUN conference, I was very nervous watching other delegates deliver their speeches. Surprisingly, I cried during break time because I was scared during the conference. However, as I watched the debate go on, I realized that all delegates were equally afraid and nervous, but they were still doing their best to express their opinions. Their passion encouraged me, and I asked POI for the first time. After breaking down that small but solid barrier, I was able to make a speech, I was able to be the main submitter, I was awarded an award, and I was able to get into the chair now.Delegates, please take this opportunity to express your opinions, and join us on the journey of solidarity, addressing global issues, and working together to achieve life through peace, security, and development.I look forward to seeing you in Feburary for a enjoyable and memorable conference!See you all soon!

Hi, my name is You JeongWoo, a 10th grade philosophy enthusiast from the International School of Qingdao. I will serve as a head president of the Security Council for MUNISQ 2023. Security issues are hard and often complicated for people to confront; however, it is one of the most crucial aspect when consider a country’s autonomy. Welcome Advisors!
My name is JinWon Ok, and I am a Junior attending Tianjin International School. It is my utmost pleasure to serve you as the head president of the Advisory Panel in MUNISQ XV.
I know how nervous, inexperienced advisors will feel when it comes to a place where you need to associate with new people because I had the same experience during my first conference. I was so nervous during the first conference that I made only 1 speech and 2 POIs. However, I do not want you to experience the same thing I have experienced. I want to make this conference memorable and exciting for the participating advisors this year.
Thus, do not get scared to make speeches and ask POIs. Believe in yourself, do what you have prepared, and speak out your thoughts. As the head chair, I will do my best and support you so that you can make a great memory during the conference.

Welcome to MUNiSQ 2023! My name is SangHee Lee currently attending Tianjin International School as a Junior, and it is my utmost pleasure to serve you as the Head Chair of the Human Rights Council.
Going back to 2019, I was fascinated by the unique procedure of MUN. Making new friends from different schools was so fun that I waited for another MUN conference as soon as one ended. After this year’s MUNiSQ conference, I hope every one of you will have new friends from other schools.
As I also was a delegate once, I understand how difficult it is to participate in MUN without help. So, I will try my best to help you with any difficulties throughout the conference.
Last, I believe the whole point of MUN is to show others how much you know about the topic, so I recommend you prepare well for the conference.

Greetings delegates,
My name is Dana Kim, a junior attending Tianjin International School. It is my great privilege to serve you as the Head Chair of the Environment Commission in MUNiSQ 2023, which marks my ninth MUN conference.
The Environment Commission holds a special place in my heart because it was the start of my MUN career. Even after four years, I distinctly remember myself participating a bare minimum to avoid being called upon by the chairs. Yet, I made several conspicuous mistakes that haunt me to this day. However, the point of this anecdote is not to persuade you to forsake MUN. Instead, I encourage you to persist and throw yourself into debates, for mistakes are inevitable. Because Ichallenged myself by participating more in each conference despite failures, I became the confident debater I am today. I look forward to a conference where we all step up and gather unforgettable memories.
